A Vision for the Future
What began as a casual conversation between family & friends about good ole times growing up, turned into a new business in Henderson, Nevada.
A family investor, who had relocated to Henderson, brought together his close friend (Southern California resident and high-end home builder) his cousin, and her husband, (Silicon Valley Commercial builders). This initial lunch meeting merged the unique talents of a residential builder, a commercial builder and an investor with a vision, and ultimately came to be known as Sand & Stone Builders, LLC
With over 65+ years of building experience between the two, Damon Grose and Fred Fisher began their new journey in Nevada.
Fred’s experience in high-end, 10,000 sq ft, custom homes in San Diego County combined with Damon’s experience in Commercial multi-story office/retail/restaurant and multi-dwelling buildings in Silicon Valley — brought together a unique combination of expertise, a great vision, and the start of a great partnership!

Damon S. Grose
Managing Partner/Project Manager

Damon Grose is originally from San Jose, CA and started his construction career in 1979 as a field laborer. He worked his way up as carpenter, foreman, superintendent, and to his current position as Managing Partner/ Project Manager.
His commercial building experience is in Class A TI’s, warehouse development, and new buildings including tilt-up, wood-framed structures, multiple story steel structures and seismic retrofits in Silicon Valley.
He gained his commercial building experience working for large builders in the San Francisco Bay Area with clients such as Google, Stanford Medical Center and GMAC dealerships, to name a few.
Sheri Grose
Sheri Grose is currently the office administrator for Sand & Stone Builders LLC. She has held this position since her husband, Damon Grose, General Contractor and Business Owner began the company in 2018.
Prior to moving to Nevada in 2018, Sheri worked for several years in the hospitality industry (Hilton Property) as a General Manager’s assistant. Additionally, she worked in the private sector as office manager for SDS NexGen Partners LLC, a family-owned real estate investment and asset management firm.
Family and a move to Northern California prompted a career change and now, as a proud Nevada resident, Sheri has made the decision to put her past experiences to use to assist her General Contractor husband build and manage his business.
